Naser Yousef Al Marzooqi

Naser Yousef Al Marzooqi has been with Emirates NBD for over 23 years and is currently holding the rank of executive management. He is currently holding the position as Emirates NBD KSA CEO. Naser has for the majority of his career (15 years) worked in Wholesale Banking, specifically focused on Corporate banking and has held various positions culminating in his role as Deputy Head of the bank’s largest exposure group known as “Large Corporates and Global Banking unit”. In his initial days of banking he worked in Retail banking in the Credit card division.

Naser moved to International department in 2015 wherein he works closely as SEVP International’s understudy and has assisted in governing and managing our International units. This has provided Naser with broader leadership skills and developed his international exposure across many aspects, not only in the day-to-day banking sphere, but also in regulatory, compliance, risk management, strategy and HR leadership and management in different cultures and environments. In addition, Naser also kept oversight of International Corporate Banking business development and growth.

Naser holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio where he majored in Finance (1995) and he has successfully completed intensive development programmes at IE, Barcelona (Senior Leadership Program) in 2013 and INSEAD, Paris (Finance for Executives) in 2017.

Mohammad Al Bastaki

With an extensive background of over 18 years in various sectors of the banking industry, Mohammad Al Bastaki is a highly accomplished and well-rounded finance professional. Known for his strategic vision and exceptional leadership, he has consistently driven financial success and implemented innovative solutions throughout his illustrious career in the banking industry. Mohammad currently serves as the Group Head of Private Banking at Emirates NBD, a position he has held since August 2023, playing a pivotal role in steering the growth of the Bank’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Franchise.

Mohammad is at the forefront of managing the wealth of the bank’s high-net-worth clients and is dedicated to delivering exceptional financial solutions. In addition to leading the Private Banking sector, Mohammad holds key positions on the boards of Emirates NBD Securities, a prominent brokerage house in the UAE, as well as Emirates NBD Capital KSA, EII Capital and Emirates NBD Asset Management. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as the CEO of Emirates NBD Capital. In that capacity, he oversaw a pool of equity capital market transactions totaling more than USD 10 billion, raised USD 45.6 billion worth of debt for clients in primary markets, and led the execution of more than USD 50 billion worth of Bonds and Sukuks for clients.

His strategic contributions played a crucial role in landmark transactions, such as the second-largest IPO in the MENA region with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saudi Aramco’s inaugural US dollar Sukuk sale, and the USD 9 billion refinancing deal of DP World. Under his astute leadership and guidance, Emirates NBD Capital achieved the number one spot in the MENAT Loans League Tables in 2022 and consistently ranks among the top five in the international Bond and Sukuk League Tables. Mohammad joined Emirates NBD in 2019 as the Head of Public Sector, Corporate and Institutional Banking, where he managed a portfolio of approximately AED 170 billion. Possessing a wealth of experience across the entire spectrum of banking services, Mohammad began his career at HSBC in 2006.

His roles at HSBC included Head of Business Banking, Regional Head of Client Acquisitions for the retail banking division, overseeing the MENAT launch for Employee Banking Services, and Director of Abu Dhabi Public Sector for the global banking division. Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai, UAE.

Zeyad Albarrak

Zeyad Al-Barrak is an experienced industrialist with an extensive business turnaround, financial, and risk/control management in addition to corporate governance background. Zeyad has 21 years of experience. He has bachelor’s degree in finance & economics from KFUPM, and in 2018, he completed the High-Performance Leadership Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne. He started his career at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund and completed a JPMorgan Chase credit risk executive management program. After that he worked in several privately owned and publicly traded companies and headed some of them.

In 2018, Zeyad started his advisory business and successfully completed many advisory projects and established his presence as trusted independent business advisor for industrial projects and turnaround situations. He has great experience in the corporate governance and as a developer of mandates and charters of different committees.

For his accomplishments in his field, he was selected as member of the protection and competitiveness committee in the Saudi Chamber of Commerce representing the private sector. Zeyad also joined number of Board of Directors committees and headed few audit committees and a member of other type of committees, in addition of playing the role of Managing Director in few other companies.

Jawad Kiwan

Jawad Kiwan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates NBD Capital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, assuming the position in August 2022. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s Investment Banking, Loans & Syndication, Brokerage, Wealth Management and Asset Management businesses.

With an illustrious career spanning 23 years in Corporate Banking, Jawad has demonstrated his proficiency by orchestrating deals amounting to tens of billions across diverse industries. His tenure with Emirates NBD Group commenced in 2018, where he initially held the position of Head of Wholesale Banking for KSA. In this role, he successfully expanded the client base, propelled revenue growth, and curated a robust portfolio conducive to sustainable future growth. His responsibilities also encompassed Transaction Banking, Financial Institution, and Islamic Banking.

Prior to joining Emirates NBD, Jawad held the position of Regional Head of Corporate Banking at Saudi Hollandi Bank (ABN AMRO Group) in Riyadh. His professional journey includes pivotal roles at Doha Bank in Qatar and Citibank in Jordan, underscoring his comprehensive international experience.

A testament to his leadership acumen, Mr. Kiwan’s local network and profound market knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia position him strategically as he steers Emirates NBD Capital, KSA. Jawad earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Hashemite University in 2001.

Musaed Enayek

Musaed joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA in December 2018 bringing with him over 15 years of executive investment experience from Alistithmar Capital, Swicorp, Riyad Capital, and Bakheet Investment Group, all in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Musaed enjoys another 10 years of experience managing start-up companies in USA, both in IT, real estate and mortgage sectors. Musaed has earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (1999) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1996) from University of the Pacific, California.

Mazen Hasan

Senior Finance & accounts management professional with 26 years of experience across diverse organizational domains, working with various Multi-National Companies. Currently, functioning as Finance Manager with ENBD Capital, Saudi Arabia.

Soundararajan Venkataraman

A Banker with experience spanning more than three decades in general banking, treasury front office as well as back-office operations and has work experiences in many bank branches across India, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia. Soundararajan Venkataraman is currently taking care of the Governance and Risk Management portfolios in ENBDC KSA. He has been with ENBDC KSA since 2011 and has taken care of the overall Risk Management with special emphasis on Operational Risk Management core activities as well as the Compliance and Corporate Governance functions.

Prior to joining ENBDC KSA, he has worked in Al Rajhi Capital and Al Rajhi Bank for couple of years in the Operational Risk Management department. Before moving to Saudi Arabia, he was the Head of Treasury in Hong Kong branch of one of the Public Sector banks owned by the Government of India for four years. He completed Master of Business Administration in Finance from the United Business Institute in Belgium.

Mr. Luay Jawad Al Motawa

Mr. Luay Al Motawa is a successful and self-motivated executive with a strategic vision to maintain the record of business development. He joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA on March 2020. With more than 23 years of executive/brokerage (local, regional and international markets) / investment/ custody and banking.

Mr. Luay AL Motawa worked on establishing brokerage houses and building up a value propositions institutional brokerage desk in different financial institutions, such as Al jazira bank, Al jazira capital.and Muscat capital. Mr. Luay Al Motawa considered one of the Margin trading founders in KSA. Mr.Luay Al Motawa has MIBA (Master of international Business administration) from West Coast University, San Diego. CA USA. And Mini MBA for bankers from (Harvard business school), and Mr.Luay Al Motawa is a certified trainer (TOT) as well.

Mr. Mohammed Abdallah

Mohammed S. Abdallah an IT Professional having rich & extensive experience, including over 17 years of experience in IT and consulting services including IT Management ,Project Management and IT Service Delivery . Prior to taking this assignment, he was handling Investment banking projects. He holds B.Sc. in Computer Science and MBA in Business Administration, as well CMA certified (CME-1).

Mr. Ahsan Nisar, CFA

Ahsan has over 16 years of experience in corporate finance covering mainly debt markets. He has diversified experience of managing the projects and structured financing, asset securitization, M&A and capital market transactions across several sectors. Ahsan has joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA as a Director-Loans Syndications in December 2021. Prior to that, Ahsan has worked in Saudi National Bank, Al Rajhi Bank and Samba Capital at different roles within the Corporate Finance field. Ahsan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified in Commercial Credit (CICC) and an MBA (Finance) from Bahria University Pakistan.

Mr. Sunil Kamat

Sunil has more than 20 years of experience in Investment & Portfolio operations and related activities. His earlier stints include many MNC financial and banking institutions such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC KSA, Samba Capital among others. He is a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He is a part of ENBD Capital KSA since August 2022.

Ahmad Al-Misfer

Ahmad leads Asset Management in Emirates NBD Capital KSA. He has over 11 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Emirates NBD Capital KSA, Ahmad was the Head of Equities at GIB Capital. As he was responsible of overseeing local and MENA Equity exposure for all equity strategies with an AUM size of more than SAR 7 billion. Ahmad also worked for both Mulkia Investment Company and Saud Hollandi Capital. Ahmad holds degree of Bachelor of Science in Finance from Prince Sultan University. He is also certified in Advanced Valuation by NYU STERN with High Honors.

Daniel Debs, CFA, CAIA

Daniel oversees the structuring and management of alternative investment funds at Emirates NBD Capital. Since joining the Emirates NBD group in 2018, he has played a key role in the C&IB division, managing a loan portfolio exceeding SAR 5 billion. With extensive experience in financing multi-billion-riyal real estate projects in KSA, Daniel previously served as Treasurer in the private sector. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Balamand, Lebanon.

Nishley Seegobin

Nishley joined Emirates NBD Capital in 2024 to lead the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in KSA. Nishley has over 14 years of experience in ECM, across Origination, Equity Syndicate and Equity-Linked both on the public and private side, covering EMEA and US markets. Prior to joining Emirates NBD Capital, Nishley was a Director at Rothschild & Co, based in London, advising corporates on strategic equity and capital markets transactions. Before that, Nishley worked at Société Générale, based in Paris, in their ECM team where he oversaw origination and execution in France, Germany and Italy. Nishley holds a BSc in Fundamental Physics from Sorbonne University in France as well as an Engineering Degree (MEng) from Ecole Centrale Paris.

Ahsan Nisar, CFA

Ahsan has over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, with a focus on debt structured solutions. He has a diverse skill set in managing large-scale projects, structured financing, asset securitization, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital market transactions across various sectors. Ahsan joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA in December 2021.

Before this, he held positions at Saudi National Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, and Samba Capital, where he contributed significantly to corporate finance functions. Ahsan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), holds a Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC) designation, and an MBA in Finance from Bahria University, Pakistan.

Fahdah AlSuomaly

Fahdah AlSuomaly is a highly accomplished and results-driven Head of Compliance and has over two decades of extensive experience in the KSA Financial sector. She joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA in August 2023. In her previous position with Al Jazira Bank, Fahdah efficiently taken care of the Compliance Department. Prior to that, she handled several positions in Saudi Hollandi Bank including finance and compliance. She possesses a demonstrable history of designing and implementing effective compliance strategies, policies, and protocols to ensure adherence to the regulatory standards. Fahdah is also renowned for her profound understanding of the international financial regulations and her adeptness at integrating cutting-edge compliance practices and Procedures into Financial Sector.

Abeer Aldakheel

Abeer joined Emirates NBD Capital KSA in August 2024 bringing over 20 years of Operations experience, to grow and develop the Equities Operations department. Previously, she was the Head of Equities Operations in CITI Bank Saudi Arabia.

She started her career in BSF for 10 years, then moved to International Banks launched in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: JPM, MS, & CITI Bank, to set the Equities Operations business.
